Brow rehab is a new service created for clients with current/old pigment in their brows that needs removing before then starting a new set.
When we have a build-up of ink in the skin from multiple top-ups over the years the skin can only hold so much before it is full. You will see as ink ages it can change colour leaving you with grey: blue tones or even red: salmon tones. In many cases, if the skin is not too saturated then these tones can be colour-corrected and there is no need for removal.
When the skin is too full we then need to take old ink out before we can put new ink in to ensure the new brows have longevity.
What is Brow Saturation?
If you have a strong blue/grey or salmon/red present in the brow or have had multiple top-ups over the years, we can not always colour correct this, simply because there is not enough space in the skin.
To correct blue/grey or salmon/red brows, sometimes we need to remove the old ink and put new ink in.
The term brow saturation refers to the amount of pigmentation still in the skin.
The level of saturation is crucial in determining whether it is possible to tattoo over previous work. The shape of the previous work will also be an important factor.
High saturation indicates insufficient space in the skin, so you will need a removal treatment to create space for your new ink. Anything from 2/6 sessions may be required.

Low Saturation means there is enough room for new pigmentation, and it’s the best time for a touch-up!
High Saturation means there isn’t enough space in the skin for new pigment. Your choices are:
A) Wait for your brows to fade.
B) Have your brows tinted.
C) Seek removal /lifting brow service.
